In early 2020 Steve Skok joined Berkadia as Managing Director in the Chicago office. Prior to joining Berkadia, Steve served as Managing Director at JLL, which he joined as part of the organization’s acquisition of HFF. Steve is focused on originating debt, equity and structured finance transactions for multi-housing, industrial, student housing, healthcare properties, office and retail. Over the course of his 25-year career, he has been involved in more than $15 billion of commercial real estate transactions. He has also held roles at Cohen Financial, Lincoln Property Company and CBRE. Steve is responsible for the origination of debt and equity financing on behalf of investors and developers who develop and invest nationally. Steve is a licensed Illinois real estate broker and resides in the city of Chicago with his wife and three children
