Steve Merkle, a principal of Open Realty Advisors and Open-Rebees, graduated from Southern Methodist University and holds an MBA from The University of Houston. Steve has led Open Realty’s consulting for J.Crew since 2005, opening over 250 stores and managing the initial and early growth of the Madewell concept. He also led consulting for The Walking Company, Nambé and Babystyle, and played an integral role in the site selection, market analysis, and lease negotiation for Apple, Restoration Hardware, L’Occitane and Oakley.
