Steve is a principal in KLNB’s retail leasing practice, bringing nuanced real estate strategy to urban core neighborhoods and leading clients through every phase of transactions including facility acquisition, financial analysis, market research, and lease negotiations. His sophisticated approach has enhanced neighborhoods across the DC Metro area through thoughtful placemaking and merchandising plans. Steve previously spearheaded retail leasing as a managing director at Newmark, where he spent 13 years before joining KLNB in 2006. Prior to Newmark, Steve owned and operated a pet supply and aquarium installation and maintenance business in Boston—experience that directly informs his understanding of successful retail operations. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola College in Baltimore.
