Sholom Jacobs is the CEO and founder of Jacobs Real Estate Advisors, LLC. Jacobs Real Estate Advisors, LLC is a boutique real estate investment firm which he started in 2008. Since 2001, Sholom has been investing in multifamily, condominium developments, retail, office and hotel assets primarily in the East coast of the United States. Sholom has expertise in all facets of real estate financing, investment and management and currently holds a comprehensive real estate portfolio of over one million square feet of office, retail, residential and hotel property. In 2015 Sholom, along with Horizon Kinetics, formed HKJ Real Estate Fund, LP, a real estate fund which originates short-term mortgage loans and other commercial financing activities, as well as direct investments in real estate assets, including equity and debt securities of publicly traded companies. Sholom is involved with many philanthropic causes and is currently the President of the NCFJE a multifaceted charity that protects, feeds and educates thousands through the NY metro area. In addition, he is a board member of Mesivta Ateres Yaakov and Yeshiva of South Shore two local NY schools which his children attend.
