Shawn Givens serves as the Vice Chairman for the Debt and Structured Finance division at Colliers’ Dallas-Fort Worth office, spearheading a growing national debt platform. His background includes over 20 years of commercial real estate brokerage and national debt placement with over $12+ billion in closed transactions across all asset types, with over 3,000 completed transactions. His extensive background and experience give him the advantage of expanding the debt and equity platform in DFW and on a national level. Shawn has served as an expert witness in real estate trial and has volunteered at the University level as a guest speaker in Commercial Real Estate Finance. Shawn consistently works on debt for fortune 500 companies, large family offices, professional athletes, and high net worth individuals from around the world. Prior to joining Colliers, Shawn was an Executive Vice President under CBRE. While at CBRE he drove the firms debt and equity operations.
