Sean Bannon has over 22 years of experience leading and executing commercial real estate investment activity in the United States. He is responsible for Zurich’s US Real Estate businesses, is based in New York, and is a voting member of the Investment Committee of ZAAM, LLC, the firm’s alternative investment platform dedicated to Hedge Fund, Private Equity and US Real Estate investment. He joined Zurich in 1997 to help launch the firm’s US direct acquisition platform, and acquired nearly $2 billion of primarily credit tenanted assets. In 2004, he helped launch the fund of funds program, and invested nearly $1 billion in 40 real estate funds and joint ventures. In 2011, he authored the current USRE strategy, and runs that program, which has directly acquired $600 million of assets in the past 24 months. Current real estate AUM approximates $2.5 billion.
