Mr. Modelski is a Managing Director & Office Head Chicago at Black Bear Capital Partners (“BBCP”) based out of the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Modelski is primarily responsible for business development as well as the sourcing and execution of structured debt and equity transactions.
Mr. Modelski has over ten years of commercial real estate experience working with institutional and entrepreneurial sponsors across a variety of transaction types including construction financing, bridge financing, DPO and note purchases. Prior to joining BBCP, Mr. Modelski was a Senior Vice President at Alpha Capital CRE in Chicago where he was primarily responsible for the origination and execution of structured equity and debt transactions. Prior to joining Alpha, Mr. Modelski was a member of Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group where he held various positions within the Special Situations, Owned Real Estate, Homebuilder Finance, and Construction, Perm, and Bridge loan originations businesses. During his tenure at Wells Fargo, Mr. Modelski worked on over $1 billion of transactions spanning all asset classes in various geographies across the country.
