I was asked to coach TBall last year for my son Theodore's team. I instinctively said yes and, although I grew up playing baseball, had no idea what I got myself into. I made sure to have practice plans lined up and focused mainly on keeping the kids engaged and having fun. My rational was to keep it fun and hope they would pick up some baseball along the way. It was truly amazing seeing the kids evolve week over week. Coaching was the favorite thing I did last year and I already signed up to coach again this year-which will be the only time my princess Hazel (4) and Theodore (6) will be on the same team.
