About

Mr. Patel joined Meridian in 2022 and currently serves as an Underwriter in the company’s New York office. He is responsible for the origination and placement of loans across a broad array of property types, including multifamily, office, mixed-use, industrial, and retail across the nation. Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Patel was a Development Associate at Triangle Equities, where he was involved with the acquisition, planning, development, financing, and construction of projects in the New York metropolitan area. Previously, Mr. Patel spent three years at Arbor Realty Trust as an AVP, where he was part of the Structured Finance Group, responsible for sizing and underwriting multifamily bridge loans. Over the course of his time at Arbor, Mr. Patel helped size over $2.5 billion and close $1.25 billion in loans. Mr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University – Peter J. Tobin College of Business.
