Sam Charney is a real estate professional whose project planning, design skills, construction management, and development experience make him one of New York City’s most respected and dynamic young developers. From 2004-2012 he developed over 1 million square feet of commercial office space and residential apartments for Two Trees Management Co. LLC serving in the role of lead project executive and co-head of acquisitions. Additionally he was a co-founder of Two Trees’s construction company GreenStar Builders LLC and self-performed all of their Brooklyn based projects from acquisition through lease up.
Sam is currently developing close to half a million mixed use square feet in Long Island City and Williamsburg for his own company Charney Companies. He has been featured and interviewed by several of the industry’s leading publications, and is a guest lecturer at the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.
