When you describe Ryan Ackerman, two words come to mind: Energy and performance. Make that high energy and high performance. This dynamic real estate professional grew up in the business; his mother, Barbara, and father, Gary, are leaders in Sarasota-Manatee real estate.
Born and raised in Sarasota on Siesta Key, Ryan enjoys an intimate knowledge of the Sarasota-Manatee region. As a child and teen, his close relationship with his parents gave him front-row seats on our area's real estate scene. Even then, he realized that this vocation offered the perfect combination of strategy, hands-on entrepreneurship, and pure excitement.
After high school, Ryan earned a bachelor's degree with a concentration in finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Following graduation, Ryan worked in the commercial real estate brokerage division of the Atlanta-based Ackerman & Co., where he deftly managed high-profile lease negotiations and complex property and financial analysis.
