With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Robert recently joined the Miami, FL office in 2016, and focuses on both single asset and portfolio transactions specializing in hotels and resorts in South Florida. Prior to joining Hunter, Robert served as senior vice president for CBRE’s Miami hotel brokerage and investment sales team, and regional vice president of franchise development with Hospitality Franchise Systems, now known as Cendant, the world’s largest hotel franchise company. Some of his notable Florida transactions include Deauville Beach Resort, Miami, Postcard Inn Resort, St Petersburg, Marriott Resort in Key Largo, Residence Inn in Tampa, and the Courtyard in Naples.
Robert also has experience in hotel operations and franchise development in Chicago, Dallas, Denver and Atlanta. He was previously a hospitality consultant with Pannell Kerr Forster in Atlanta, where he was responsible for market feasibility studies and operational analysis. Robert holds a bachelor degree from Shorter College in Georgia and an MBA from the University of Miami, Florida.
