About
Mr. Mahoney is a co-founder and senior partner of the National Retail Partners—Midwest. Focusing on the sale of larger open-air retail formats, he has worked extensively with owners in the formulation of strategic disposition initiatives and marketing campaign executions. Mr. Mahoney has represented a wide range of sellers including institutions, REITs, private equity funds, national-regional developers, and financial institutions in the sale of individual properties, portfolios and partial interest transactions.
Mr. Mahoney joined CBRE in 1990 as an Investment Property Specialist after working in corporate finance in the consumer products industry and with Price Waterhouse, specializing in the retail and real estate industries. Since the formation of the National Retail Partners—Midwest in 1996, the team has sold over 1,045 retail properties across all formats encompassing more than 150 million square feet of space and valued at over $15.4 billion.
