Robert Emden serves as a Vice Chairman with Newmark. Over the course of a career spanning nearly 50 years, he has been responsible for some of the largest real estate transactions in New York and globally. Emden leads one of the industry’s most respected brokerage teams, specializing in private equity, hedge funds and family offices. Co-led by Emden’s son, David Emden, the team has unparalleled expertise in local and national tenant advisory services as well as multimarket transactions around the globe. Emden’s scope of expertise includes all types of real estate requirements and complex projects. He and his team leverage Newmark’s global capabilities to fulfill any and all of their clients’ real estate portfolio requirements. Emden started his career in the early seventies at Edward S. Gordon Company (ESG) and helped to grow the firm to approximately 450 before it was sold.
