Robert Clifford has been in the commercial real estate business for over 42 years starting with the Charles Dunn Company, Western Holdings and Capital Real Estate Advisors. His first major client was National Medical Enterprises, a Fortune 500 company (now Tenet Healthcare) whom he represented nationally for over 12 years. Following that he was the land acquisition broker for Sunrise Senior Housing, completing over 38 transactions in the Southern California market over a 15 year period. He also completed additional deals with Oakmont Senior Living, Fountain Square, and Kensington Senior Living. Partnering with the Chairman of American Golf, Robert then founded American Airports Corporation and grew the company into the largest general aviation airport management and development company in the country in a five-year period. Once they acquired these airports under long-term at-risk management contracts, they built them out with hangars, FBO’s, industrial buildings and did long term ground leases with third-party developers.
