Rob Hannan serves as an executive managing director of Newmark in the El Segundo, California, office. Mr. Hannan is a member of the investment sales team led by Kevin Shannon, president of West Coast Capital Markets. He joined the company in December 2015 from CBRE, where he was a senior vice president with Team Shannon. Previously, he headed up Western U.S. office acquisitions for Kennedy Wilson, from 2011 to 2015. Mr. Hannan’s history with the Shannon Team dates from 2005, when he first joined CBRE. For the next six years, he participated in property sales valued at more than $6 billion throughout the West Coast, with an emphasis on Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Prior to CBRE, Mr. Hannan was instrumental in introducing Honolulu as an investment market at Santa Monica-based REIT Douglas Emmett, Inc., leading the company’s acquisition of more than $300 million of office and multihousing product in Hawaii.
