Rico T. Murtha is a Director of commercial leasing at Cushman & Wakefield. Dividing his practice equally between agency leasing and tenant representation within the office and industrial asset classes, Rico’s responsibilities include strategic development, lease auditing, implementation of occupancy cost reduction strategies, advanced lease renewals, transaction management, market research, brokerage and advisory services, business development and industry profiling.
Mr. Murtha is an integral member of C&W’s market leading Brooklyn commercial leasing team, and spearheads the team’s industrial business within this geography. As such, Rico has emerged as one of the firm’s experts within the Brooklyn Industrial space.
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Murtha gained 11 years of experience as a pure tenant representative through a partnership with a boutique firm in Manhattan, cultivating experience by successfully completing hundreds of leasing transactions in all Manhattan submarkets.
