Richard Melbye is an associate in CBRE’s South Bay office. Richard specializes in office tenant and landlord representation in the South Bay, focusing on providing clients with strategic consulting and transaction services that positively benefit their bottom line and long-term business objectives.
Richard is a member of a respected team of four sales professionals, recognized for their unparalleled knowledge of the South Bay market, and expertise in enhancing value, reducing costs and managing risks for their clients.
Prior to joining CBRE, Richard developed a diverse skillset and knowledge base in financial analysis, real estate marketing, portfolio management and prospecting business opportunities. He is a natural leader and activator, demonstrated through his Vice President position on Chapman University’s Real Estate Association leadership board and in founding and leading Chapman’s Outdoors Club for two consecutive years.
Richard obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with an Minor in Leadership Studies from Chapman University.
