Prabhat is a Vice President for Mag Mile Capital's Originations & Business Development Team. He is responsible for originating, underwriting and packaging client transactions for lender review, as well as evaluating new investment opportunities. Since joining the firm's predecessor Aries Capital in 2014, he has participated in closing over $500 million in financing for hotels, multifamily and retail properties nationwide.
Prior to Aries Capital, Prabhat held finance internships with Group One Trading, L.P. and Morgan Stanley in New York, as well as SAC Capital Advisors in Stamford, CT and Cap Gemini S.A. in Chicago, IL.
Prabhat honed his knowledge of the hospitality industry working within a portfolio of successful hotels and restaurants in the Chicago area, including managing an extensive banquet and catering operation.
EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS
Prabhat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He also completed international studies programs in Prague and Singapore. Prabhat is active in the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and is a member of ICSC.
