Paul is a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the Los Angeles office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition with more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Paul is mainly responsible for originating debt and equity placement transactions throughout the western United States with a focus on office, retail, multi-housing, industrial and hospitality properties. He has participated in closing more than $17 billion in transactions. Paul has served as a vice president for Nomura Capital, as well as a vice president for L.J. Melody & Company’s Los Angeles office. Prior to mortgage banking, he was the project manager for the California office of a Japanese developer, where his primary responsibilities were entitlements, financing and community relations. Paul also served as Chair of the Originations Committee for the Commercial Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
