As the Director of Leasing for Peak Realty Chicago, my main areas of focus are on our owners, our internal team, growing our rental database, and improving overall efficiency. Engaging with ownership to understand and execute their specific asset plans is key to ensuring a symbiotic relationship which in turn allows us to minimize the rate of vacancies and grow their building's rent rolls. I’m often consulting with current/prospective owners to understand rents/Pro-forma rents by unit type and by neighborhood. On the internal side, maintaining a strong dialogue with our leasing managers and brokers is critical to our day-to-day success. We are constantly met with timelines and critical dates that must be tracked carefully and accomplished quickly. We are continually reviewing our processes to make sure we are offering the best service possible to our clients (building owners and individual renters/sellers/buyers) and the best software to our team.
