Though he briefly considered becoming a doctor, there was never really any doubt that joining his family’s real estate firm would ultimately be Neil Dolgin’s destiny. “The older generation directed you where to go,” says Neil, who along with his older brother Kalmon, currently serves as Co-President of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, Inc.
As a teenager during school breaks, Neil learned the real estate ropes doing various jobs at Kalmon Dolgin’s Williamsburg, Brooklyn offices, which still serve as its corporate headquarters. After graduating from high school in 1969, he enrolled at Denver University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, marketing, and finance. This was followed by an MBA in urban development before officially joining Kalmon Dolgin in August 1975.
With more than 45 years of real estate experience and counting, Neil has brokered sales and leases throughout Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk County on Long Island. He also manages property for the Dolgin family, as well as third-party owners.
