About

Michael L. Wood is a Principal in Gantry’s Seattle office. Mike Wood originates mortgage loans for correspondent life insurance companies, conduits, and other various lenders. He has originated more than $1.8 billion in finance transactions nationally, with an emphasis on properties in the greater Puget Sound area. Before joining the Gantry team, Mike worked for Norris, Beggs & Simpson Financial Services for 23 years. Mike began working in NBS Financial’s Portland office in 1997, and a year later relocated to Puget Sound to spearhead the expansion of the company’s operations in the area. He was appointed a branch manager in 2003, and became a partner in the company in 2007. In 2016, Mike was recognized as the company’s top producer. Prior to joining NBS Financial, Mike worked for Geonerco, Inc., a regional homebuilder headquartered in Seattle, under the title of Property Manager/ Land Acquisition. He earned a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Washington and is a licensed broker in Washington.
