About
Mike Kemether joined the Cushman & Wakefield team in 2006 with multifamily experience in development, rehabilitation, acquisitions, and dispositions of institutional assets.
Prior to his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Kemether served as Associate VP of Transactions for Archstone-Smith, an S&P 500, publicly traded REIT with a market capitalization exceeding $20 billion. Mr. Kemether oversaw, managed, and participated in more than $5.4 billion in Archstone acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Kemether assisted in due diligence and other aspects of acquisitions while managing all aspects of dispositions for Archstone’s Eastern Region. During his tenure in development, Mr. Kemether managed various activities in five markets: Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Florida. He performed all aspects of Atlanta development, including site sourcing, underwriting, securing board approval, zoning/entitlements, and revenue management during lease-up and stabilization.
