Mike Watson has been a market leader in the central and south Texas commercial real estate markets for over 18 years and is a founder and Managing Partner of Independence Commercial Advisors.
Mike began his career in commercial real estate in the Austin office of a national real estate investment brokerage firm specializing in multifamily investment sales. He went on to become the #1 producing agent for the Austin and San Antonio regions, earning several national sales awards as well as recognition as a “Top 10” producer for all of Texas.
In 2008, Mike was promoted to Regional Manager for the firm, responsible for market growth and leadership of the San Antonio market initially, adding the Austin office in 2009. Additionally, he went on to open offices in Corpus Christi, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Albuquerque. Under his leadership his offices grew to over 50 investment sales and financing agents throughout his multi-state region and he was awarded the Vice President designation 2012.
