About

Bringing nearly a decade of capital markets experience on the principal side of the commercial real estate industry, Michael Stepniewski joined Walker & Dunlop as a Senior Director in 2021. Mr. Stepniewski is a member of the New York Capital Markets Team and focuses on sourcing and structuring financing for all commercial real estate asset classes nationally. Mr. Stepniewski previously served as a Director for the Debt Capital Markets group at Tishman Speyer, where he led the procurement of debt financing for the firm’s acquisitions and ground-up developments across the United States. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Mr. Stepniewski worked on the Capital Markets desk at LoanCore Capital, where he originated, syndicated, and securitized nearly $10 billion of commercial real estate debt. Mr. Stepniewski began his career in the new issue CMBS group at Kroll Bond Ratings in New York. Mr. Stepniewski holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
