Born and raised in Raleigh, Michael graduated from East Carolina University in 2014. Michael has an unending energy and passion for helping his clients achieve their real estate goals. Michael joined his father at Deaton in 2015 after two years working in general commercial real estate brokerage.
With a focus on off-market transactions, Michael has been the leading producer at Deaton since 2017 and helped the team achieve the CoStar Power Broker Award year-after-year. He is licensed in N.C and S.C.
Michael lives in Raleigh where he enjoys and active lifestyle. He enjoys being outdoors, working out and rarely sits still for more than five minutes. In 2020, Michael was selected to East Carolina University’s Board of Visitors and is the youngest member of the board.
