Michael Chira joins Compass as a 3rd generation Brooklynite. He perpetuates the legacy of his paternal grandfather, who owned and managed several properties throughout New York, and that of his maternal grandfather, who developed shopping centers and homes in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
He has long nourished his deep roots in the field of real estate, learning much about the business while observing the signage of numerous commercial tenants in the families Union Square property under Samson Associates. His career as an agent began at a boutique firm and tech startup in Brooklyn, where he specialized in rentals throughout the borough.
