Michael Beach serves as a Vice President – Originations at Berkadia and has more than 20 years of experience in real estate including development, joint venture equity, and debt investments. In 2023, Michael joined Berkadia from Newmark where he was involved with the underwriting and origination of more than $10 billion in multifamily loans and credit facilities nationwide. Prior to joining Berkadia, he was a Vice President at Captec Financial Group where he was part of a team that oversaw joint venture equity investments in ground-up development and redevelopment multifamily and retail projects with a total budget exceeding $230 million. Prior to Captec, Michael was an associate at La Playa Properties where he was involved with the acquisition and development of single-family and multifamily development projects.
