Matthew Zisler joined Greystone in 2022 as a Senior Managing Director that leads the preferred equity and joint venture advisory and production group. The equity platform is intended to provide subordinate financing and help meet borrowers’ changing capital needs during today’s higher interest rate environment as financing transactions commonly yield lower senior loan proceeds. Mr. Zisler is a commercial real estate executive with over 20 years and over $5 billion in closed transactions and expertise in acquisitions, capital raising, equity investments, development and structured finance. He most recently lead commercial acquisitions for Broe Real Estate in Denver, focusing on multifamily, office, medical office, life science, retail and structured investments. He is the co-founder and board advisor to Zisler Capital Associates, a national real estate capital consulting and brokerage firm, where he served as principal and COO for eleven years leading their debt brokerage, equity and preferred equity transactions business.
