As Managing Broker of the Newport Beach office, Matt oversees a growing group of talented agents representing buyers and sellers of luxury properties throughout Orange County. Matt graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where he played running back for the California Bears. He then earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. Prior to his real estate career, Matt was an International Equities Trader, where - in addition to assessing trading operations in European and Asian markets - he led a multi-billion dollar International derivative program trading operation, monitoring risk, execution, and strategies. Matt also spent several years in Investment Banking, conducting Mergers and Acquisitions transactions for Bay Capital Partners, originating and executing technology-related transactions across multiple industry sub-sectors. His background in finance and investment strategies provides Matt a unique perspective and acumen as he helps his clients negotiate and traverse numerous creative real estate transactions.
