About
Matt Hoffmann joined Avison Young in February 2010 as an Associate Director in the Capital Markets Group where he focuses on transaction advisory, debt finance and investment sales efforts. Prior to joining Avison Young, Matt provided investment analytics as an Associate for Ravinia Capital Group, a Chicago based investment and advisory firm. Transaction experience included acquisitions, equity joint ventures, development, debt recapitalizations and third party advisory transactions. Matt also served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Trizec Properties, Inc. At Trizec, he assisted in the analysis of various asset management programs including capital investments, leasing, and acquisitions. Notable assignments included the $1.6 billion portfolio acquisition by Trizec of Arden Realty properties from General Electric Company (GE-NYSE) and the eventual sale of Trizec Properties to The Blackstone Group in October 2006.
