About
Matthew Franques is a Partner at Alpine Partners. A native of The Woodlands, TX, Matthew brings a wealth of transactional experience to Alpine. Before co-founding Alpine, he was an associate for a commercial real estate firm in Houston. As an associate, he closed over $40mm worth of CRE transactions in 2021. Matthew also has an extensive oil and gas background and is currently a Registered Landman with AAPL. Working for an upstream operator in Oklahoma, he purchased and closed more than 1,000 net mineral acres in the STACK and SCOOP plays and managed an extensive mineral portfolio. Matthew holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.
