Matthew Cohen joined Maverick Commercial Mortgage, Inc. in May of 2011. In this role as associate, Matt’s focus is to obtain competitive mortgage loans for his clients on all commercial property types, including multi-family, retail, office and industrial. Over his six years with Maverick, Cohen has been involved in the financing of more than $500 million of commercial real estate, including securing a $34 million first mortgage for Sunset Village Manufactured Housing Community.
Matt earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in law and society from American University in Washington, D.C. He is also a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.
