About
Matt Weber joined the Capital Markets Debt and Equity Practice and the Investment Sales practice in October 2018. Matt focuses on equity placement, finance, and sales for multifamily, office, industrial, and retail properties.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Mr. Weber managed a private equity fund sponsored by NVCommercial where he managed over $200 million which included debt instruments, joint venture partnerships, and direct ownership in stabilized investments as well as development projects.
Mr. Weber was previously a Portfolio Management Officer with ING Clarion Partners, where he managed over $1.0 billion of investments in retail, multi-family, office, and industrial properties. He also assisted in managing ING’s internal US Real Estate Development Fund, and was responsible for over $250 million of condominium projects in the Washington, DC and New England markets.
Before his career in real estate, Mr. Weber worked in management consulting for Arthur Andersen in their Business Consulting practice in Tysons Corner, VA.
