Matt Pohl, Managing Director, joined Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales in January 2020. Based in the Austin, Texas office, Mr. Pohl is responsible for the origination and execution of multifamily property sales throughout Central Texas, including Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Round Rock, and Georgetown.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Pohl served as a managing director of the Capital Markets group at HFF preceding the JLL acquisition. Mr. Pohl started his career as intermediary focused on multi housing investment advisory services in January of 2010 in Austin, Texas. Now entering his eleventh year in the investment advisory business, Mr. Pohl has experience in successfully closing transactions of core, core plus, and value-add opportunities throughout the Central Texas region. He has worked on single asset sales as well as sizable and complex portfolio transactions, and he has proven to be an expert in the Central Texas market. Mr. Pohl and his team have been responsible for closing over $4 billion of property sales transactions throughout his career.
