Marty Zupancic is a multifamily specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s, Washington, D.C., office and currently serves as a Director of the firm’s National Multi Housing Group. Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2008, Marty has consistently been one of the firm’s top performing agents in the Mid-Atlantic region earning numerous awards including National Achievement Awards in 2014 and 2015, as well as the Washington, D.C., office’s Most Difficult Deal award in 2013, and Rookie of the Year in 2008. Marty and his team advise and assist clients in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets and he is recognized as a leading expert in the District’s housing and rent control laws. Marty has significant experience with bankruptcy sales, TOPA and tenant acquisitions, along with transactions involving development sites, and assets with condo conversion and repositioning potential. Marty is a Maryland native, a former Washington, D.C., small business owner, and a resident of the District for over 15 years. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed sales person in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
