Luciana L. González spent fifteen years in public service, moving her way up the ranks at the City of Miami to ultimately become the Assistant Director of Planning & Zoning. During her tenure at the City of Miami, she served as the project manager for Miami 21, the City’s zoning code, and had a significant role in its development – managing all day-to-day activities, strategizing community outreach and marketing efforts, briefing political leaders, drafting legislation, and leading its subsequent implementation. She played a role in the review of major projects such as Brickell Citycentre, Miami Worldcenter, the Design District, Riverlanding, and many other high profile projects.
