Lon Rubackin’ most recent leasing assignments have included representing Vital Climbing Gym for their 42,000-sq.ft. climbing facility in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Lon also represented Natualizer Shoes for their new prototype on 34th Street in Manhattan and the United Kingdom’s leading steakhouse, Hawksmoor, for their very first location in America.
Other significant leasing assignments include representing The Kushner Companies in the purchase of the 250,000-square foot retail condo in the former New York Times headquarters for $296 million. Simultaneously, Lon leased 60,000 square feet to National Geographic and nearly 50,000 square feet to Gulliver’s Gate, a new miniature world, entertainment attraction. As Bed Bath & Beyond’ s exclusive broker, Lon represented the tenant in the leasing of 120,000 sq. ft. in Brooklyn—not only the largest deal in the company’s history, but also one of the largest retail deals recently completed in Brooklyn.
