Mr. Choquette founded Fident Capital in 2005 to serve middle-market commercial property developers and investors. His innate curiosity and tenacity have helped him secure over $800 million of equity and debt financing for clients in the Southwest United States. Following the 2008 downturn, Mr. Choquette became a minority partner in a firm that flipped and aggregated single-family residences. The operation’s peak flip inventory contained over $20MM of product and cumulative sales exceeded $140MM. Under his leadership, the firm secured a $30MM equity commitment for aggregation of a single-family rental portfolio. Prior to starting Fident Capital, Mr. Choquette was an associate at La Jolla Capital Partners. His underwriting approach redefined the manner in which the company presented opportunities to the market, expanding capital sources and earning the company valuable new business.
