Kenneth L. Zakin is a member of Newmark’s Capital Markets group and a leader of its corporate advisory, net lease and sale leaseback practices. He also spearheads its national 1031 exchange platform. He has been a Senior Managing Director since joining the company in 2003. His diverse industry background includes prior tenures with Insignia/ESG (1997-2003) and Lehman Brothers (1985-1997). Zakin is a transaction specialist with particular expertise in connection with the sale, sale leaseback, financing, recapitalization and structuring of real estate transactions nationally and globally and has completed more than $5.0 billion in sale, equity/debt, advisory and IRC §1031 exchange transactions.
