As a Senior Director in the Tenant Representation Group, Kathleen brings her very diverse background and strong mix of relationships to Cushman & Wakefield. She has spent the last 20 + years in the senior level private industry and government positions in the City of Chicago.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Kathleen served as Managing Director, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors for Ziegler Capital Management, LLC. As general Counsel, Kathleen oversaw multi-million dollar acquisitions that ultimately increased the firm's assets under management by over 2 billion dollars.
Prior to joining Ziegler she worked for the City of Chicago for 11 years under the administration of Mayor Richard M. Daley. During her tenure with the City, she held several senior level Mayoral appointed positions including, First Deputy Commissioner with the Department of Planning Development where she managed a staff of 165 employees and oversaw a $40 million budget.
