I grew up in Texas around Real Estate and attended UT for finance and management. In 2002, I moved to New York to work at Trammell Crow Company, where I learned Real Estate analysis. I underwrote hundreds of deals and closed many. In 2006 I transitioned to Shorenstein, where I focused on underwriting and acquiring buildings. Then children; when I was about to have my first child in 2009, I took leave and embarked on a new and incredible journey. During my leave, I raised three daughters as a very hands-on mother. I played teacher and student during COVID-19, while studying and obtaining my individual real estate brokerage license as my kids soared academically. I chose public school for my kids as I saw a unique opportunity in our neighborhood. I run the PTA with massive parent participation in my free time; I build teams at Brick Church to support the mission as our kids went to school there. I built out our home in New York City, purchased and developed our place in Vermont. I administer our finances and run our lives in excel. As my daughters mature, I’ll have more time to ply my skills and energies in the workplace.
