Joshua co-founded Black Spruce in June 2009 and has been responsible for Black Spruces growth. He currently oversees all aspects of the business and is the chairman of the investment committee. Prior to Black Spruce, from 2007 to 2009, he purchased, rehabilitated and sold over 50 distressed, residential assets in Upper Manhattan. From 2003 to 2007, Joshua was one of the top producing loan officers for First Meridian Mortgage. Joshua is currently an active member of the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). Josh and his wife and two sons live in Brooklyn.
