Current Responsibilities
John Nugent’s current role includes evaluating, structuring and closing hospitality real estate transactions. In his position as a Executive Vice President, John manages the financial underwriting, organizes the creation of proposals, orchestrates the production of offering materials, facilitates investor requests, conducts investor site inspections, leads transaction negotiations and assists buyers with their due diligence efforts.
Experience
Since joining JLL in 2005, Mr. Nugent has been involved in $4.5 billion of hotel investment sales transactions comprising over 100 individual assets that range from select service to full service property types. While at JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group, Mr. Nugent’s primary role has been on the Investment Sales team, however he has worked on various debt and equity sourcing assignments as well as note sales for hospitality assets with JLL’s Hotel Investment Banking team.
