John Heitmann is a vice president in Northmarq's Chicago office and a founding member of the firm’s National Healthcare Group, specializing in securing commercial debt for various property types. John has garnered a reputation for executing on highly complex financing structures and assignments. Before Northmarq, John was a vice president with Four Pillars Capital Markets (FPCM) in Chicago, where he joined in 2022. Prior to FPCM, John was a vice president at Cadence Capital Partners before its acquisition by Matthews Real Estate Investments. John provided acquisition financing, bridge financing, construction financing, permanent debt, recapitalizations and subordinate financing. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, John earned an MBA with an emphasis in real estate and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing.
