About
John Bencivenga joined Avison Young in 2022 as an Associate focusing on office and industrial leasing along with strategic corporate site selection and property disposition. Prior to joining Avison Young, he worked at the Avocat Group specializing in tenant representation for office and industrial users. John assisted with over 250,000 square feet of office and industrial leases as well as a handful of sales. He also assisted the Avocat Group with the development of an off-market branch which services clients in finding property that is not listed on standard commercial real estate sites. John interned with several Tampa Bay commercial real estate firms including Avesta, Harrod Properties and Redstone Investments. John graduated from Florida State University where he earned a double major in real estate and finance. At FSU, John played on the lacrosse team, was active in the FSU Real Estate Society, and studied abroad in Florence, Italy. John is a Florida-licensed real estate sales associate and is actively pursuing his CCIM designation.
