John Barksdale is a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Austin office. As a 13-year veteran with CBRE, he has completed more than 380 assignments totaling more than 11 million square feet and valued at over $693 million. Mr. Barksdale specializes in the representation of institutional landlords in the life cycle of office and industrial assets, from pre-acquisition analysis to complete project lease-up and finally disposition of stabilized properties. His team tracks and analyzes countywide tenant demand, forecasts market trends and creatively structures tenant leases to deliver maximum value on individual assets and portfolios. Additionally, Mr. Barksdale sources redevelopment and new development opportunities in underserved Austin-area submarkets and represents tenants in leasing and acquisition of corporate headquarters, office/R&D, biotechnology and manufacturing facilities.
