Joe Simpson joined the JMW Hotel Group of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in 2020. He is currently an Associate for our Hospitality Division and has experience in the development and management of hotels, as well as hospitality sales. Mr. Simpson comes from a family that has been in real estate, development, and property management throughout the Carolinas for over 20 years.
Mr. Simpson specializes in hospitality transactions, including but not limited to select-service, full-service, extended-stay, and economy hotels. Mr. Simpson is well versed in 1031-exchanges, assisting clients into like-kind properties deferring taxes and improving cash flows.
He also works daily with MMCC, Marcus & Millichap’s subsidiary capital corporation, helping clients get comprehensive lending terms. A Graduate of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.S. in Business Management, his background is in real estate sales and management.
