Jo Taylor is President and CEO of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. A proven leader and investor of more than 35 years’ experience, Jo focuses on an innovative, ambitious growth mindset and investment excellence to deliver retirement security for teachers across Ontario. In January 2021, he was responsible for overseeing Ontario Teachers’ commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Jo’s expertise has been honed over a career of working in Europe, Asia and the Americas, leading multiple successful investment and business growth strategies. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Jo spent more than 20 years with 3i Group plc where he held a number of senior management roles. Jo graduated from London University with a BA (Honours) and later earned an MBA from Manchester Business School. He has served as the Chairman and non-executive director of many companies, including ISS, Helly Hansen and Camelot.
